The Cottage
The cottage was converted in the 1970s from a barn and is built of Quercy Blanc stone, which keeps it pleasantly cool in the summer. All the floors are terracotta tiled. There is plenty of hot water and for the autumn and winter months, as well as gas central heating.
The sitting room is very comfortably furnished with a sofa bed (providing 2 additional sleeping spaces), and includes a very large fireplace for late autumn and winter evenings. There is also a dining room table, 6 chairs and a TV. There is a separate loo and a large bathroom with 2 basins, bidet and a shower.
The kitchen opens on to the sitting room and is well equipped with cutlery, plates, cooking utensils, coffee machine, toaster, electric mixer, oven, microwave, cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer.
There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds.
The entrance to the cottage faces west, with a partly covered terrace equipped with chairs, table, sun-loungers, parasol and a barbecue for your exclusive use.
Gas and electricity are included. Mid week cleaning is 30€ extra.
The floodlit swimming pool is 5 by 11 metres with a diving board and faces south with sun all day. From the pool terrace there are wonderful views over the plum orchards and the village in the distance. The pool is maintained and cleaned daily and is shared with the other guests.
